Your Support Is Essential
Please consider contributing to our Annual Appeal!

Now with the opportunity to reach more individuals than ever before, your support has never been more impactful. We appreciate you considering CSCNYCT as one of your philanthropic priorities, with a gift that you are most comfortable with for you and your family.

Your gift will ensure that our critical programs continue while giving our growing number of community members in the greater NY and CT areas a safe space, support, and the strength they need to live each day with cancer in their lives.

It is not hard for many of us to imagine what a cancer diagnosis does to the life of a loved one because so many of us have seen it firsthand.

" Every dollar raised from generous donors like you, goes directly towards providing support groups, individual counseling services, healthy lifestyle classes, educational workshops, and social programs to those impacted by cancer - adults, children, teens, and families.

Please consider a gift that will make an impact to members such as Cassie, Lola, Hamish, Liz and countless others. Thank you for your generous heart and continued support. "

Cassie

Cassie and her family are members of CSCNYCT and receive support services through our Children, Teens and Families programming.

” When a child is given a cancer diagnosis,
it affects everyone. CSCNYCT supported and educated Hamish’s school faculty. They helped
build support networks for his friends and school community and gifted our seven-year-old daughter, Lola, a safe place to process how her life has turned upside down. I will forever support Cancer Support Community’s work and give back to the outstanding work that they do in the community. I hope you will consider doing the same.
Forever grateful
. “

Meet Lola

“My counselor helps me with my feelings. We do crafts and play games. I love it!”

Meet Liz

Liz joined CSCNYCT as a caregiver in early 2024 and now participates in our bereavement support services.

” My husband Russ was diagnosed with Lymphoma in 2022 and passed away in 2024.
I was his full time caregiver and his nurses highly recommended CSCNYCT for a caregiver support group. I immediately joined, and doing sessions virtually was a big help. And NO cost! I bonded with the people, realizing I was not alone. I have now joined a grief support group which meets in person. I look forward to sharing experiences and emotions. I am also looking forward to the many other classes such as yoga, meditation, pottery, etc. “

CSCNYCT will be closed beginning Monday, December 23rd through January 1st. Our red doors will re-open on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
