Dear Friends of Gilda’s Club,
Welcome to our new website! We are so thrilled to launch this newly designed resource, which allows us to share the many ways we have strengthened and expanded our programs over the past year. In addition to our support groups and educational components, we now offer distress screening, short term one-on-one counseling, coping skills training, and a four-part survivorship series so that we can provide people with the support that best fits their needs. We are also growing our partnerships with hospitals, schools and other community-based organizations so that we can continue to meet the needs of individuals and families beyond our Clubhouse.
Our new website also boasts plenty of updated features, making it a more user-friendly and interactive experience. A new calendar function allows visitors to easily find information on upcoming events, workshops and activities. We also improved the site navigation and included a drop down menu bar for a better browsing experience. Video testimonial allows visitors to hear the value of the support that we provide directly from individuals who participate in our programs. Finally, four new person-focused “About You” categories help anyone who is new to Gilda’s see the wide variety of psychosocial support we offer, whether they are living with cancer themselves, have a family member or friend with cancer, have experienced the loss of a loved one to cancer or are looking for support for children and teens.
Thank you for visiting our new site. I hope you’ll browse through for more about the innovative programs we offer and all of the ways Gilda’s Club Westchester provides support to individuals and families in our community impacted by cancer.
