On Tuesday, July 17th more than 80 people throughout the tri-state area participated in the Annual Gilda’s Club Westchester Golf Invitational at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York. Event participants had the chance to take to the greens at one of Westchester’s premier courses and attend a wonderful dinner reception. During the program and award presentation, Dr. Mark Weinberger, a licensed psychologist, shared his insights on the various challenges men face when touched by cancer.
Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, we were able to raise more than $70,000 in support of our mission to provide emotional and social support to anyone touched by any type of cancer in our community. This event would not have been possible without the help of our event sponsors: Michael Bebon, The Neibart Family, The Stern Family, The Stuntz Family, ABCO, Cuddy & Fedder LLP, EisnerAmper, Kohl Construction Group, Milberg Factors, Inc., Personal Risk Management Solutions, and SL Green Realty. A special thank you to Lexus, for once again hosting the Hole-In-One competition.
Thank you to Event Co-chairs Mayo Stuntz and Jim Stern as well as the rest of the Golf Invitational committee: Carol Bennett-Schnorr, Andrew Falk, Jonathan Litt, Daniel Milberg, Scott Musoff, Joyce and Lee Neibart, William Null, Hal Shapiro, Andrew Sommers, Mitchell Stein, Harri Taranto, Les Danish and Cindy Valk-Danish, Gil and Susie Wang, David Walke, and Richard Witten.
